Institutional consumption measurement
Electricity consumption per building and measurement point, with comparable time series data.
Government
The OLM smart measurement system helps to follow consumption, identify waste operation and support energy efficiency decisions.
Why is it useful?
Energy consumption of municipal institutions occurs in many sites under different operating conditions. Without a smart measurement, it is difficult to see precisely which buildings, suns or equipment have an unjustified excess consumption. The OLM system collects data per measuring point and then makes the consumption trends transparent on an online interface. Leaders and technical operators can thus work on common up-to-date information.
The scheme supports the preparation of energy efficiency programmes, the return on investment and the rapid recognition of abnormal consumption. It can also be used in schools, nurseries, offices, sports facilities, cultural institutions and rentals. Alarm logic helps to indicate unusual loads, communications shortages or limit excesses. Reports make it easier for us to have sustainability talks and project reports. The aim is not only to collect data but also to make a quick operational decision from the measurement information.
Overview of functions
Electricity consumption per building and measurement point, with comparable time series data.
Transparent statements may be prepared monthly, weekly or daily for operational and management decisions.
In case of unusual consumption, limit values may be exceeded or data link errors, an automatic signal may be provided.
Before and after energy efficiency investments, actual consumption changes can be measured.
The separate management of rentals, departments or consumer groups helps the accounts.
Continuous online access reduces the risk of an error being undetected for a longer time.
